A sweater fits always and everywhere

Not all sweaters are the same. Some models are better suited to difficult, i.e. cold or rainy outdoor environments, while others are more suitable for leisure and camping in the summer. This is of course also reflected in the choice of colors, so we have green, black, gray and also red color variants available.

It is important that clothing fits well, because only if the sweater fits properly will you have enough freedom of movement and at the same time be optimally protected against cold and moisture. You should therefore make sure that the sweater - colloquially known as a pullover - is long enough, especially in the back area, to prevent the kidneys from cooling down. College sweaters or models with hoods do this job just as well as fleece versions.

How are the differences in the material noticeable?

Sweaters made of virgin wool warm, protect and insulate well because virgin wool absorbs moisture and wicks it away to the outside. To ensure that virgin wool stays in shape, it is often mixed with a polyacrylic component.
Cotton has similar properties to new wool and feels pleasant on the skin. Fleece is a synthetic fiber product that has the enormous advantage of being very thin and light, while still retaining body heat.
Blended fabrics combine the best properties of the aforementioned materials to create first-class sweaters, which of course are available in a wide range here at ASMC. In addition to a wide range of sweaters, we at ASMC also offer a variety of jackets that match our sweaters perfectly and provide additional protection and comfort during various outdoor activities.

Which variant for which purpose?

The sweaters in our range are really suitable for every area. Regardless of whether it is military or security-related, leisure or outdoor. Cotton, for example, is perfect as an intermediate layer, even under bulletproof or safety vests. Light cotton sweaters are of course always suitable for leisure time too. Fleece models should not be worn alone in very cold weather, but are ideal for the transitional period and moderate cold.

You can get a double benefit by simply putting your sweater or another item of clothing in your sleeping bag. This keeps your feet extra warm and the next day your clothes aren't damp like they would be if you kept them in the tent.
