Unless otherwise stated below, the provision of your personal data is not required by law or contract, nor is it necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the data. Failure to provide it has no consequences. This only applies if no other information is provided in the following processing operations.
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Server log files
You can visit our website without providing any personal data.
Each time you access our website, usage data is transmitted to us or our web host / IT service provider by your Internet browser and stored in log data (so-called server log files). This stored data includes, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of access, the IP address, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR out of our overriding legitimate interest in ensuring the trouble-free operation of our website and improving our offer.
Person responsible
Contact us on request. The contact details of the person responsible for data processing can be found in our legal notice.
Proactive contact of the customer by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail on your own initiative, we will only collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) to the extent provided by you. The data processing serves to process and respond to your contact request.
If the contact serves the implementation of pre-contractual measures (e.g. advice on purchase interest, preparation of an offer) or concerns a contract already concluded between you and us, this data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
If contact is made for other reasons, this data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in processing and responding to your inquiry. In this case, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We will only use your email address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted in compliance with statutory retention periods, unless you have consented to further processing and use.
Collection and processing when using the contact form
When you use the contact form, we only collect your personal data (name, email address, message text) to the extent that you provide it. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. If the purpose of the contact is to carry out pre-contractual measures (e.g. advice on an interest in purchasing, preparation of an offer) or concerns a contract already concluded between you and us, this data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit.
We will only use your e-mail address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted in compliance with statutory retention periods, unless you have consented to further processing and use.
Customer account
When you open a customer account, we collect your personal data to the extent specified there. The purpose of data processing is to improve your shopping experience and simplify order processing. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time by notifying us without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. Your customer account will then be deleted.
Collection, processing and forwarding of personal data for orders
When you place an order, we collect and process your personal data only to the extent necessary to fulfill and process your order and to process your inquiries. The provision of the data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. Failure to provide the data means that no contract can be concluded. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and is necessary for the performance of a contract with you.
Your data will be passed on, for example, to the shipping companies and dropshipping providers you have chosen, payment service providers, service providers for order processing and IT service providers. In all cases, we strictly observe the legal requirements. The scope of data transmission is kept to a minimum.
E-commerce platform Shopify
To operate our online store, we use Shopify, a service provided by Shopify Inc, 126 York Street, Suite 200, Ottawa, ON, Canada, K1N 5T5. This service provides an e-commerce platform through which we offer our goods for sale. The data transmitted as part of your order is stored on a Shopify server.
Shopify has explicitly designed its infrastructure in such a way that cross-border data transmission is GDPR-compliant. Personal data of persons from Europe is first received and processed in Ireland as Shopify's EU headquarters and then transferred to the parent company in Canada. If data is forwarded from there to processors based in other countries, e.g. the USA, this is done in accordance with the export requirements of the Canadian Data Protection Act recognized by the European Commission.
In addition, personal data may be transferred within a group of companies (e.g. between Shopify Inc. (Canada) and Shopify in the USA) if these companies have an internal data protection policy (so-called "Binding Corporate Rules, BCR), which are approved by a European data protection authority (here based in Ireland) (Article 47 GDPR).
Finally, data transferred from Shopify Canada to the USA is encrypted during transmission and storage. This means that it cannot be easily decrypted.
You can find more information at http://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
The legal basis for the transfer of data to third parties for the purpose of contract processing or for billing purposes is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and for the transfer in the context of legally required cases Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.
Data collection when writing a review
You have the opportunity to write reviews on our website. For this we use "Reviews.io", a service of REVIEWS.io 2020 GMBH, Stralauer Allee 6, 10245 Berlin, Germany. Reviews.io allows us to collect customer reviews and publish them on our website.
In order for you to write a review, Review.io needs your name or a pseudonym and your e-mail address (will not be published). As soon as you write a review on Review.io, the service automatically creates an account for you.
The processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation. If you withdraw your consent, we will delete or anonymize the review.
Reviews can be submitted in such a way that it is not possible for other website users to identify you. It is up to you to decide whether you wish to provide information about yourself in addition to the mandatory information. Newsletter | Use of Klaviyo
We use the service of Klaviyo Inc. (125 Summer St Floor 7, Boston, MA 02111, USA; "Klaviyo") for sending newsletters as part of order processing.
We pass on the information you provide during the newsletter registration process (e-mail address, first and last name if applicable) to Klaviyo. The data processing serves the purpose of sending the newsletter and its statistical evaluation.
In order to evaluate newsletter campaigns, the newsletters sent contain a 1x1 pixel graphic (tracking pixel) or a tracking link. This enables us to determine whether you have opened the newsletter and whether you have clicked on any integrated links. In this context, we collect your personal data such as IP address, browser type and device as well as the time. This data can be used to create user profiles under a pseudonym. The data collected will not be used to identify you personally. The data collected is only used for statistical analysis to improve newsletter campaigns. An adequacy decision by the EU Commission is in place for the USA - the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework (TADPF). Klaviyo has certified itself in accordance with the TADPF and has thus undertaken to comply with European data protection principles.
Your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in a targeted, effective advertising and user-friendly newsletter system.
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you.
You can find more information on data protection at Klaviyo at https://www.klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice and at https://www.klaviyo.com/legal/data-processing-agreement.
Use of the e-mail address for sending newsletters
We use your e-mail address independently of the contract processing exclusively for our own advertising purposes for sending newsletters, provided you have expressly consented to this.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the corresponding link in the newsletter or by notifying us. Your e-mail address will then be removed from the mailing list.
Your data will be passed on to a service provider for e-mail marketing as part of order processing. Your data will not be passed on to any other third parties.
Use of the e-mail address for sending direct advertising
We use your e-mail address, which we have received as part of the sale of a product or service, for the electronic transmission of advertising for our own goods or services that are similar to those that you have already purchased from us, unless you have objected to this use. The provision of the e-mail address is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. Failure to provide it means that no contract can be concluded. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR from the legitimate interest in direct advertising. You can object to this use of your e-mail address at any time by notifying us. The contact details for exercising your objection can be found in the legal notice. You can also use the link provided for this purpose in the advertising email. This will not incur any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates.
Forwarding of the e-mail address to shipping companies for information about the shipping status
We will pass on your e-mail address to the shipping company as part of the contract processing if you have expressly consented to this during the ordering process. The purpose of the transfer is to inform you by e-mail about the shipping status. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us or the transport company without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Use of the Facebook Pixel
We use the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" of Facebook Inc (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA; "Facebook") on our website. The purpose of the application is to target visitors to the website with interest-based advertising on the Facebook social network. The Facebook remarketing tag has been implemented on the website for this purpose. This tag establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers when the website is visited. This tells the Facebook server which of our pages you have visited. Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When you visit the Facebook social network, you will then be shown personalized, interest-based Facebook ads. Your data may be transmitted to the USA.
The use of cookies or comparable technologies is based on Section 15 (3) sentence 1 TMG. Your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in targeting site visitors with interest-based advertising. You have the right to object to this processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. You can deactivate the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" here. You can find more information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy in Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
Use of Google Ads
We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" on our website and in this context conversion tracking (visit action evaluation). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). If you have your habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) is the controller responsible for your data. Google Ireland Limited is therefore the company affiliated with Google that is responsible for processing your data and complying with the applicable data protection laws.
When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. It is therefore not possible for cookies to be tracked via the websites of Ads customers.
The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. Your data may be transferred to the USA.
You can deactivate personalized advertising for you in the Google advertising settings. You can find instructions on how to do this at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de
Alternatively, you can prevent the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the further information on opting out mentioned there. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can find more information and Google's privacy policy at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/
Use of the LinkedIn Insight tag
We use the LinkedIn Insight tag of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Attn: Legal Dept., Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland; "LindedIn") on our website for conversion tracking (visit action evaluation) and retargeting (display of personalized advertisements).
The LinkedIn Insight tag places a unique LinkedIn browser cookie (conversion cookie) in your browser and enables the collection of the following data for this cookie: metadata such as IP address, timestamp and page events (e.g. page views). These cookies have a limited validity. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, LinkedIn and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page.
The LinkedIn Insight tag also allows LinkedIn to collect data about visits to our website, including URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics (user agent) and timestamp. This data is transmitted to LinkedIn, encrypted, the IP addresses are shortened and the direct IDs of LinkedIn members are removed within seven days to pseudonymize the data. This remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted by LinkedIn within 90 days.
LinkedIn does not share any personal data with us, but only provides summarized reports on website audience and ad performance. LinkedIn members can specify the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings.
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag.
Your data may be transferred to the USA. There is no adequacy decision by the EU Commission for the USA. You can prevent the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the recognized opt-out website, for example at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ or www.aboutads.info/choices, and implementing the further information on opting out mentioned there.
You can find more information on cookies and LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookiepolicy and https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

In doing so, we pursue the legitimate interest of running an online advertising campaign that is remunerated based on performance. We work together with Awin, who support us in implementing this affiliate marketing campaign. You can find the Awin privacy policy here. It contains information about your rights in relation to data processing by Awin.

Use of social plug-ins
We use social network plug-ins on our website. The integration of social plug-ins and the data processing that takes place serves the purpose of optimizing the advertising of our products.
When social plug-ins are integrated, a link is established between your computer and the servers of the social network provider and the plug-in is displayed on the page by notifying your browser, provided you have expressly consented to this. Both your IP address and the information about which of our pages you have visited are transmitted to the provider servers. This applies regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to the social network. Transmission also takes place for users who are not registered or not logged in. If you are connected to one or more of your social network accounts at the same time, the information collected can also be assigned to your corresponding profiles. When you use the plug-in functions (e.g. by clicking the button), this information is also assigned to your user account. With the standard integration of plug-ins, when you access the pages of our website that contain such a plug-in, a link is established between your computer and the servers of the social network provider and the plug-in is displayed on the page by notifying your browser. Both your IP address and the information about which of our pages you have visited are transmitted to the provider servers. This applies regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to the social network. Transmission also takes place for users who are not registered or not logged in. If you are also logged into the Facebook social network, this information will be assigned to your personal user account. When you use the plug-in functions (e.g. by clicking the button), this information is also assigned to your user account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plug-in. To ensure that you retain control over your data, we have decided to deactivate the corresponding button first. You can recognize this by the greyed-out button. Without your express consent - in the form of activating the button - no link to the social network server will be established and consequently no data will be transmitted.
Only when you activate the button will the button become active (highlighted in color) and a direct connection to the social network's servers will be established.
By activating it, you give your consent to the transfer of your data to the respective provider of the social network. Among other things, your IP address and information about which of our pages you have visited will be transmitted. If you are connected to one or more of your social network accounts at the same time, the information collected will also be assigned to your corresponding profiles.
