How CO2 weapons work

With CO2 weapons, an air pump or compressed air bottle stores air in a reusable pressure vessel and compresses it to a pressure of up to 50 bar. This pressure vessel is connected to the pressure system of the weapon and releases a certain amount of CO2 to another pressure vessel before each shot.

As soon as you pull the trigger, a valve is released, releasing the stored air and driving the bullet through the barrel of the gun.

CO2 weapons and their differences

Shooters who are interested in CO2 weapons have the following options available in our online shop: revolvers, pistols and rifles. While CO2 pistols are comparatively inexpensive, the classic and true-to-original CO2 revolvers are a more expensive option.

Revolvers can use both BBs and pellets in reusable cartridge cases, while CO2 pistols usually only use BBs.

However, CO2 rifles score highly for maximum precision and best aiming accuracy. These CO2 weapons allow the shooter to concentrate fully on the target and are suitable for use with the so-called Hi-Cap magazine.

Which CO2 weapons are recommended for beginners?

We generally recommend that beginners use a so-called air gun. These only allow one shot at a time, but cause recoil and require constant re-cocking. Due to the sophisticated technology and the special drive types, CO2 guns require a great deal of know-how, which is why we recommend these firearms for advanced shooters.
