“Light for the whole world” - LED Lenser

LED Lenser and the sun have a lot in common: They bring light into the darkness and brighten the world. Behind their passion - lamps - they stand with years of expertise and motivation for what they do. It is precisely this commitment that provides us and the world with excellent flashlights and headlamps for every purpose.
It all started in a garage with two brothers who had an idea for a flashlight: the LED LENSER® V8. In Europe, it is one of the best-selling LED flashlights. The brothers also received a strong response internationally with this model and were able to make the leap from a start-up to an internationally operating company.
Despite this, the Led Lenser company in Solingen has remained down to earth. Harald and Rainer Opolka are the founders of Led Lenser and do not see themselves as classic entrepreneurs or "capitalists". This is also reflected in their company policy, because the employees are the focus of the company. LED Lenser invests in company housing and further training, thereby clearly signaling that the competent employees are the company's capital. In this way, Led Lenser also ensures a high level of innovation and outstanding material quality in its products.

Thought through to the last detail – German engineering

LED Lenser never lets its feet stand still. This fact is reflected in the outstanding functionality and quality of its products. Constant optimization of the flagship products and practical features using the latest technology ensure that the products are always in tune with the times. The think tank, as they affectionately call their product development, is located in Solingen in North Rhine-Westphalia. This is where the designs for new products are developed and the existing products also undergo a constant improvement process. What is designed in Solingen ultimately ends up in China for production. Both the prototypes and large series are produced there.
All products that leave the production facility are first thoroughly tested. LED Lenser flashlights and headlamps must withstand extreme temperatures and also not lose quality due to moisture, pressure or impact. To ensure this, an extensive quality control of each lamp is the last step before it goes on sale.
