Traditional Finnish brand for over 50 years

It is not without reason that Savotta is considered a proven traditional brand. The family business, founded in 1955, inspires both professional emergency services and outdoor enthusiasts with its high-quality products that can withstand even the most adverse conditions.

In the 1950s, founder Allan Halme started producing bags, gloves and backpacks. At first, he only sold leather goods to forest workers under the company name Pyllkönmäen.

Word of the quality of his products spread quickly, which meant that orders kept increasing and Halme eventually had a small factory built and employed a few people. The high demand prompted him to expand his product range quite quickly to include other backpack models as well as travel and motorcycle bags.

The number of orders increased steadily, so much so that he had a second production facility built in the mid-1960s. From this point on, the customer base no longer included only private customers, but also specialist dealers and the Finnish armed forces, who appreciated Savotta's quality.

Savotta has now become a popular brand well beyond the Finnish borders, established among emergency services and outdoor enthusiasts.
