Ares - Ares programming box EFCS & GCS

Using the Ares programming box, AEG rifles with Ares Electronic Firing Control System (EFCS) or Gearbox Control System (GCS) can be set to a specific battery type. This protects Li-Po batteries, for example, from deep discharge.

Adjustable battery types:
- Ni-Mh
- 2 Cells Li-Poly (Li-Po battery with 7.4 volts)
- 3 Cells Li-Poly (Li-Po battery with 11.1 volts)

Instructions
1. Connect the model with EFCS or GCS to one side and the battery to the other side of the programming box.
2. Select the desired battery type on the programming box.
4. Press 'Enter' until a beep confirms the setting.
5. Now reconnect the battery to the weapon. The weapon is now programmed for the selected battery type and protected against deep discharge.

In addition, different firing modes can be programmed. However, this is only possible for export models; German models cannot be adapted.

DANGER
Only on export models (without multi-fire selector lever) can the fire modes be reprogrammed!
