The new version of the Bundeswehr combat knife with multifunctional applications. The most important additions to the previous models were the cutting of barbed wire and the sawing of wood or plastic. The new KM4000 model combines all these capabilities and can still be used as an offensive or defensive weapon. For breaking window glass, the KM4000 is equipped with a striking element that protrudes from the end of the handle. Handle made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. The blade has a black Kalgard coating to protect against corrosion. MOLLE or IdZ-adaptable Cordura/plastic sheath system. The knife is made from Böhler 1.4110 stainless steel with a hardness of HRC 51-53.
