The Norwegian company Brynje has been producing thermoactive mesh underwear for outdoor activities for over 50 years and combines the advantages of synthetic material (Meraklon) with the proven mesh fabric.
This fiber does not absorb moisture (unlike wool and cotton) and distributes it over a large area so that it can evaporate more quickly (therefore there is virtually no evaporative cooling). Sweat and excess body heat can escape through the mesh more easily than with plain-knit underwear.
The breathability and warmth retention capacity of the mesh fabric are maintained even when periods of activity and rest alternate quickly. The surface of the skin and underwear remain dry, the body does not cool down and saves valuable energy, and the body temperature remains stable.
This has been proven by tests under Arctic conditions with military special forces, international expeditions and top athletes.

The synthetic fibre Meraklon retains its insulating properties even when wet. It is easy to care for, washable and quick-drying.
